Duet
Well this would be debatable among some, but let me give you my opinion. Digital is far better for most photography in my opionion, and that includes weddings. When it comes to print quality you will not be able to tell the difference from a pro using film, and a pro using digital. Digital gives much more flexibility, and a digital wedding photographer will usually take far more pictures, and give you more options.
The fact is, is that digital is pretty much the professional standard now as far as photographer go, and it's no longer an issue of sacrificing quality so that you can have digital. I would say that about 90% of professional wedding photographers use digital. Not that a film photographer would not be good, but the fact is that most wedding shooters, including many of the most acclaimed ones would not even offer film shooting anymore.
As always, in the end it comes down to chosing a photographer that you like, and that does a really great job. As long as you get a professional, it really does not matter wether they shoot digital, or film.
